Season two of Dickinson will follow Emily on her journey out of her creative isolation. The trailer reveals that Emily’s only reader is her friend Susan Gilbert who is played by Ella Hunt. Susan tells Emily that she needs to share her poems and writings with the whole world. As Emily travels on her journey, she questions whether or not Fame is something good for her. In fact, she thinks that it is very dangerous.
Steinfeld joins the returning season two cast Jane Krakowski, Anna Baryshnikov, Ella Hunt, Toby Huss, Adrian Blake Enscoe, and rapper, singer, and songwriter Wiz Khalifa, who returns in the role of Death. Also, returning writer and executive producer, Alena Smith, takes the reins on the upcoming season.
