Check Out the First Trailer for the Upcoming CW Series ‘Walker’ Starring Jared Padalecki
Supernatural and Gilmore Girls actor Jared Padalecki is going to star in a new series based on a classic TV show from the ’90s.
The new series Walker will revive the story of the original series Walker, Texas Ranger. The original show starred actor Chuck Norris as character Cordell Walker and was televised from 1993 to 2001. Television movies were also made, and the storyline is still considered to be a classic by many. The main character will be played by Padalecki in this upcoming reboot.
The synopsis of the series describes the story of “Cordell Walker, a widower and father of two with his own moral code, who returns home to Austin after being undercover for two years, only to discover there’s harder work to be done at home.”
Padalecki shared the first trailer for the upcoming series on his social media platforms. In his caption, he expresses his love for the new show and his hope of Supernatural fans following him into the world of Walker. “It’s been a long road to get here, but it has my entire heart,” he writes. “I hope you join us on January 21st for the premiere of @thecwwalker. #SPNFamily meet the #WalkerFamily.”
Padalecki is known for his role as Sam Winchester in the popular series Supernatural. This fantasy series just wrapped up its 15th and final season this fall on the CW. Surely fans will be excited to Padalecki star in a new dramatic show and become engaged in a new role.
