Written, directed, and produced by world-renown Adam McKay, who gave us Talladega Nights, Anchorman, and Step-Brothers, Don’t Look Up is a political satire based around a world disaster that is sure to provide plenty of entertainment and laughs.

Originally picked up by Paramount Pictures in February of 2019, Netflix soon acquired Don’t Look Up only 11 days later and swiftly hired Jennifer Lawrence and Leonardo DiCaprio as the leads.

This film follows two low-level astronomers along their media tour while they attempt to warn mankind about an impending asteroid.

DiCaprio and Lawrence are not the only big names we will see in this film. Due to his reputation, McKay was able to cast a multitude of A-list stars for his upcoming Netflix film, such as Meryl Streep, Jonah Hill, Timothée Chalamet, Cate Blanchett, Chris Evans, Tyler Perry, Rob Morgan, Kid Cudi, and most surprisingly, Ariana Grande.

Production is currently taking place at various locations across Boston, Massachusetts, including the well-loved bar, Howl At The Moon, which has been converted to a restaurant named Bojo Mambo’s. While Don’t Look Up was originally projected to be released sometime in 2020, filming was pushed back due to COVID.

As of now, there is no official release date, but with this incredible cast, we hope it’s soon.
