Check Out the Intense Trailer for the New Netflix Film ‘Malcolm & Marie’ Starring Zendaya and John David Washington
Zendaya and John David Washington play a Hollywood couple working through the obstacles of their relationship in Netflix’s new film Malcolm & Marie.
The trailer for the highly anticipated film Malcolm & Marie is finally out, and it has fans even more excited to see it than before. Many have been anxiously waiting to get a sneak peek, especially after the first promo photos were released back in November.
Zendaya plays the girlfriend of Washington, a prominent Hollywood filmmaker, and the two test the strength of their relationship upon returning home from a movie premiere. Things quickly escalate as they try to determine if their relationship will make it over the hurdle.
The trailer is powerful and the film is sure to keep us all on the edge of our seats. Zendaya and Washington’s chemistry is undeniable, and many are already comparing Malcolm & Marie to Marriage Story, a Netflix film that was released in 2019.

The film is entirely in black and white, which helps to enhance the romantic theme, and the cinematography is incredible. Euphoria creator Sam Levinson is directing and producing the film and rapper Kid Cudi is helping to executive produce.

Fans are loving the trailer and can already tell that Zendaya and Washington will both give outstanding performances. Oscar buzz is already brewing and Malcolm & Marie is said to have entered into this year’s award season. Many are hoping Zendaya scores her own Academy Award to add to last year’s Emmy win for her role in Euphoria.
