Yes, you read that right: a new movie will be released weekly. Tuesday morning Netflix released a video via Twitter of 27 films they plan to release week by week for 2021. The films show viewers that Netflix intends to cover every genre possible over the year. One film fans can’t get over is Red Notice starring Ryan Reynolds, Dwyane Johnson, and Gal Gadot.
@VancityReynolds Absolutely cannot wait! This will crush the Netflix viewed record. I plan to watch #RedNotice 11 million times opening weekend to help do my part!

Famous Lin-Manuel Miranda, known for his performance in the Broadway musical Hamilton, will make his debut as a director for the film Tick, Tick…Boom! and he is not the only one; American actress Halle Berry will also make her debut as a director for the film Bruised.
In the video, they also tease fans with two sequels in the making. To All the Boys: Always and Forever, Lara Jean will be released as a sequel to the movie To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. The Kissing Booth 3 will premiere as the last movie in the three-part sequel that first started in 2018 with The Kissing Booth.
So get ready for a year full of movie nights, and make sure to follow Netflix on Twitter to keep up with the release dates.
