The 18-year-old pop star, Billie Eilish first gained attention back in 2015 when she released the song “Ocean Eyes”. Since then, Eilish has accomplished more in the past few years than most artists do in their lifetime. The “Ocean Eyes” singer has over 70 million Instagram followers, charted multiple singles on the Billboard Hot 100, won 5 Grammys in 2020, and now has a documentary on the way.

Eilish’s new Documentary, Billie Eilish: The Worlds A Little Blurry directed by R.J Cutler will capture the singer’s hectic life in the past few years. The documentary will also feature a touch of the award-winning show, The Office

Entertainment Weekly put out a report on January 12 stating Billie’s request to director, R.J Cutler which was “I want it to be like The Office“. What the singer meant by this request is that she wants to connect to the camera in the way the characters in The Office do. Eilish believes doing this will reflect her connection to her audience.

It is no secret that Eilish loves The Office. The singer even has a song titled, “My Strange Addiction” in which the introduction features dialogue from The Office.

Eilish released the trailer to the new Documentary Billie Eilish: The Worlds A Little Blurry to social media in December.

Cutler also stated in the late Entertainment Weekly story, “This film is an epic journey. It’s two hours and 20 minutes long. It’s a full meal, there’s an intermission, and we went for it. You’re going to have a full experience watching this movie and the subject was worthy of that. That’s what the subject called for.”

Fans are excited about this news and have been raving on Twitter about the new documentary set to hit Apple TV+ February 26.
