Harry Styles’ ‘Watermelon Sugar’ Has Reached 1 Billion Streams
Harry Styles’ song, “Watermelon Sugar,” has reached one billion streams on Spotify, making it Styles’ top song on the music platform.

Styles released his single “Watermelon Sugar” in May of 2019. By August, the track had climbed its way to number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. In December of the same year, Styles released his second solo album, Fine Line with “Watermelon Sugar” being the 2nd track on the album.

Not only did “Watermelon Sugar” earn Styles a 2021 Grammy nomination for Best Pop Solo Performance, but the British artist received two other 2021 Grammy nominations, one for his single “Adore You,” and one for Best Pop Vocal Album. To no surprise, fans flooded social media sites congratulating Styles on his three nominations, which were announced on November 24.

Styles was a member of the famous One Direction band that split up in August of 2015. Each member of the band has gone on to pursue solo projects. Styles released his first solo album, Harry Styles, in 2017. Two years later, in 2019, Styles released Fine Line. Both albums have peaked at number one on the charts proving the success of his career.
