Demi Lovato, Justin Timberlake, and More Expected to Perform at the Presidential Inauguration
Biden’s inauguration event will be hosted by Tom Hanks along with musical performances by Justin Timberlake, Ant Clemons, Demi Lovato, Lady Gaga, and more.
President-elect Joe Biden will be sworn in as the 46th president of the United States on Wednesday, January 20. We can expect appearances from Tom Hanks, Justin Timberlake, Ant Clemons, Demi Lovato along with other guests during Biden’s inauguration, “Celebrating America”.
The events surrounding the inauguration will be virtually held, due to COVID-19 safety hazards, along with top-notch security after the break-in of the U.S. Capitol last week. These remote circumstances surely won’t stop these stars from giving a great performance.
Hanks, the first major celebrity to announce last March that he had tested positive for COVID-19, will be hosting the 90-minute special. The telecast will be broadcasted across all major television networks on January 20 begining at 5:30 p.m. Pacific.
Timberlake announced he will be performing his new song released in December titled, “Better Days” featuring Ant Clemons. The singer took to Twitter on January 13 and stated, “A few months ago @AntClemons and I wrote “BETTER DAYS”. This song was our way of doing what little we could to encourage everyone to stay hopeful and to keep working towards a better future. I’m honored to announce we’ll be performing it for the Inauguration”.
