Rico Nasty Makes TV Debut With ‘OHFR?’ on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’
Rapper Rico Nasty made her TV debut with a performance of “OHFR?” on January 14’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
“OHFR?” (pronounced “oh, for real?”) is the fourth single off of Rico Nasty’s freshman album, Nightmare Vacation.
Jimmy Fallon introduced the song and album before cutting to a separate location, where the rapper waited to perform. Her performance featured Rico Nasty in an elaborate, modernized, French neoclassical period set. She and her backup performers used a stylized version of the French neoclassical style for their hair and makeup.

Rico Nasty is a 23-year-old rapper who blends traditional rap music with trap, trap metal, and punk rap music. She preceded Nightmare Vacation with seven mixtapes, one of which was released while the artist in high school. Alongside her last four mixtapes, Rico Nasty released Nightmare Vacation on her own label, Sugar Trap.
The rapper coined the phrase “sugar trap” as a way to explain her style of music that often borrows from punk and metal elements while remaining bubbly and upbeat. Rico Nasty used the phrase for two of her mixtapes: 2016’s Sugar Trap and 2017’s Sugar Trap 2.
