Sabrina Carpenter Surprises Fans With Announcement of a New Song

21-year-old actress, singer, and songwriter Sabrina Carpenter announced that she is releasing a new song on January 21 at midnight.

Sabrina Carpenter has had her fans on the edge of their seats waiting for new music. The last song she released was in July of 2020. It was the single titled “Let Me Love You” and was featured in the Netflix film Work It. Fans have flooded social media today with excitement tweeting ‘Sabrina Is Coming.’

Fans also have been tweeting their suspicion that Sabriana has signed a new record deal with Island Records. Sabrina or the label Island has not announced anything official though her name is listed as an artist on the Island Records website.

Sabrina Carpenter played Maya in the hit Disney show Girl Meets World from 2014 to 2017, which gained her a lot of attention. Shortly after the show aired, she signed a record deal with Hollywood Studios. In March of 2014, she released her first single, “Can’t Blame a Girl for Trying.” A year later, in 2015, she released her debut album, Eyes Wide Open. The following year, in 2016, she followed with her second album, Evolution, and after hit the road for a sold-out tour.

Overall Carpenter has delivered a total of four studio albums. Her third album, Singular Act I, was released in 2018, and the following year she released Singular Act II. All four of her albums have earned spots on the Billboard 200 chart. Fans are hoping the release of this song is a hint for an upcoming album.
