Lil’ Kim Wants Teyana Taylor to Play Her in Biopic
Iconic female hip-hop legend Lil’ Kim has R&B singer Teyana Taylor in mind to play her in upcoming biographical film.
In a recent interview with ESSENCE, rapper Lil’ Kim shares her dreams of wanting the world to know the real Kimberly Denise Jones — not just her stage name, Lil’ Kim. The iconic hip-hop star would love to see her life unfold on the big screen, but only if she can be portrayed by one person: Teyana Taylor.
Kim continues to praise Taylor in her interview stating, “There’s nobody in the industry at all but Teyana.” Taylor has made waves in the entertainment industry, as she is an actress, choreographer, dancer, singer, and model.

Throughout her interview, Kim continued to tease out what is to come of her potential biopic by adding, “More information will be revealed in a month.” So, fans of Kim can look forward to having a glance into her life before becoming the hip-hop icon millions have come to know her by.
Taylor, who has made a name for herself in the R&B world, is the only candidate in Kim’s eyes to play Kim as a younger adult. While Kim does not reveal much about her potential biopic, she is certain the multi-talented rapper will play the part well. Taylor seems to be all for the idea, as she reacted with emojis to indicate her shock and amazement of Kim’s request.
