The wait is finally over for those who were eager to see Euphoria‘s latest episode “Part 2: Jules,” which premiered over the weekend. It came after the intense episode “Part 1: Rue” aired last month, which focused on Rue’s addiction and her view on her relationship with Jules.

This time around, Jules got a chance to tell her story and viewers were able to see things from her eyes. Many had been dying for the episode to air since the majority of the first season had been centered around Rue.

The episode was nothing short of raw and emotional as it opened with a montage of memories of Jules and Rue being shown in Jules’ eyes as Lorde’s “Liability” played in the background. Throughout the episode, Jules sat in a therapy session and let her guard down, relieving some of her most traumatic experiences. Hunter Schafer, who plays Jules, helped write the episode, and many are commending her performance.

A lot was revealed as Jules discussed her thoughts on Rue and their rocky relationship, and she drew parallels to her strained relationship with her mother, who’s also an addict. We also get a better look into Jules’ relationship with Tyler, a boy she met online and eventually fell in love with, as well as Jules’ experience as being transgender.

Many have expressed feeling emotional after watching the episode and more people support Jules after once thinking she was selfish for how she treated Rue. The two special episodes were a tease, making everyone even more anxious for the second season.

After several delays due to COVID-19, the cast has not yet started filming for season 2, which was originally supposed to air sometime this year. In the meantime, you can now stream “Part 2: Jules” on HBO and HBO Max.
