Grand Jurors in Breonna Taylor Case Petition to Impeach Attorney General Daniel Cameron for Misrepresenting Findings
Three unnamed grand jurors in the case of Breonna Taylor have petitioned for Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron’s impeachment.
Breonna Taylor’s family has voiced their disapproval of AG Daniel Cameron for months now. In October, Breonna Taylor’s mother formally requested the case to be presented to a new jury by an independent prosecutor. Now grand jurors join the family in their disapproval of AG Cameron.

Daniel Cameron is accused of breaching public trust and misrepresenting findings. No officers were charged for Taylor’s murder. pic.twitter.com/MNloARieTV
Breonna Taylor was fatally shot and killed inside her apartment by two officers from the Louisville Metro Police Department. The officers were plainclothed when they entered the apartment on March 13 at 12:40 a.m. on a no-knock search warrant. Court records show that a circuit court judge approved the warrant as part of a narcotics investigation. For almost a year now, the entire nation has been fighting to see justice for Breonna Taylor.
Nobody, not a single soul is in jail for the murder of Breonna Taylor.

Four months ago, Cameron announced that only one officer would be charged with wanton endangerment due to bullets that went into the apartment next door. None of the officers involved in Taylor’s death have faced any criminal charges. Cameron told the public that the grand jury walked through every homicide offense before deciding only to charge one officer. Though, the jurors have come forward and explained that Cameron never presented them with the option to consider a homicide offense against the officers. The only thing about this case that has been revealed this past year is how broken our justice system is.
NO murder charges in Breonna Taylor death.

One officer charged with three counts Wanton Endangerment.
Leaders in the government are expected to bring justice but we have not seen that for Breonna Taylor. The justice system on which this very nation is built failed her.
You really have to applaud the bravery of these Breonna Taylor grand jurors. It takes a lot of guts to take on someone powerful like Daniel Cameron and fight for someone with no voice. Now they just need some people in office to share, or at least borrow, their courage.

We wait to see how Kentucky officials will react to the petition for AG impeachment. Breonna Taylor deserves justice, as does her family. You can join the fight for justice for Breonna here.
