Charmed is finally back with more magic in season three, after COVID-19 cut season two short.

The fantasy and drama series, Charmed is a reboot of the original series by the same name, which aired from 1998 to 2006. The new Charmed premiered on television in 2018 and has a total of three seasons. The third season aired January 24 on The CW Network, expected to have a total of eighteen episodes.

The series follows three sisters, Macy (Madeleine Mantok), Mel (Melonie Diaz), and Maggie (Sarah Jeffery) who discover they are the “charmed” ones after the death of their mother. When the sisters accept the reality of their powers they are faced with the duty to battle the dark forces.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, the second season was forced to leave off on episode nineteen. Although the season finale worked with the storyline it left viewers with a few questions- Will Mel will ever find true love and will the charmed ones be able to conquer the conqueror?

The official account for Charmed took to Twitter to announce the season premiere.

Jeffery, who plays Maggie told Culturess in a late interview, “We kind of find ourselves in a bit of a new circumstance, new roadblocks, new problems, and it’s a lot of fun. There’s a lot of new stuff this season that I think people are really going to enjoy.”
