CW has also released the information that they plan on making five supplementary episodes of Walker, bringing the total series amount to 18 so far. “Though we’re just a few weeks into the new season, we wanted to get a strategic head start on next season with these early renewals, which allows our production teams to start laying out story arcs and hiring staff, and at the same time, continues to provide us with a strong, stable schedule to build on for next season,” said Mark Pedowitz, Chairman and CEO of The CW Network according to Decider. Begining their new seasons at the end of January, many CW shows are just a few episodes into their stories, and the renewal of many shows is giving fans much to look forward to in the coming months.

While many got renewed, some faced a different fate. Unfortunately, the discontinuation of Supergirl and Black Lightning have been confirmed, to the despair of fans. Black Lightning‘s fourth season will be released on February 8, while Supergirl‘s Season 6 premiere date hasn’t been released yet. However, Black Lightning is planning to do a spinoff, leaving some hope for the story’s continuation. Stargirl, The Outpost, Pandora, and Two Sentence Horror Stories are some other shows that have yet to be determined on renewal or not.

If one of your favorites did not make the first draft list, there is still hope for their continuation as The CW continues to announce the fates of their shows.
