Vanessa Morgan Announces the Birth of Her Son River
Vanessa Morgan and Micheal Kopech have shared the birth of their son, River, with the world.
One week ago, on January 29, Vanessa Morgan gave birth to her first child. On February 4, Morgan made her first comment via Instagram about the birth of her son. Morgan is known for her role as Toni Topaz in the TV series Riverdale and Micheal Kopech, is a pitcher for the professional baseball team, the Chicago White Sox’s. Morgan and Kopech recently split over the summer.
The former couple got engaged in July of 2019. Less than a year later, they joined together in marriage in front of 40 of their closest friends and family. In June of 2020, Morgan announced her pregnancy via Instagram, making her excitement and joy known. While the couple got a divorce, the two were together to happily welcome their child into the world.
Fans across the internet have been celebrating the birth of Morgan and Kopech’s child and loved the baby’s name. Morgan explained the meaning of baby River’s name to fans via Instagram story writing: “Early on in my preganacy I was walking the River everyday, gave me so much peach I knew that was the perfect name for his lil soul. Plus Michael & I really wanted a nature name.” Morgan’s Instagram post shares that they are enjoying their time home with their son, and they are pouring love over him.
