Throughout the film, she struggles with terrifyingly vivid hallucinations, which leads her to believe that there is someone trapped inside her neighbor’s attic. While her family tries to help her in any way they can, Rain cannot let go of the things she is seeing, no matter how much her parents say it’s all in her head; there is a terrifying feeling that she cannot shake. With the help of Caleb (Israel Broussard), who may or may not be a hallucination himself, Rain risks her safety and security to save the person in her neighbor’s attic.
