Mary McCartney Makes Plant-Based Cuisine on Her New Discovery+ Cooking Show ‘Mary McCartney Serves It Up’
Mary McCartney released a six-part cooking series, Mary McCartney Serves It Up, that is available now on discovery+.
In every episode of Serves It Up, McCartney recruits a different celebrity friend to come to cook plant-based dishes with her. A few of these friends have included Kate Hudson, Mark Ronson, Liv Tyler, Gayle King, Dave Grohl, Cameron Diaz, and Nicole Richie. Since Ronson and Tyler live in London, they were able to cook in the same kitchen, while she contacted her other guests via FaceTime. McCartney notes that she usually uses FaceTime to cook with her more distant friends and it wasn’t solely due to COVID-19.
Her celebrity guests aren’t the only aspect that makes each episode unique. McCartney also has a fun, fresh theme like easy entertaining, comfort food, remixed classics integrated into each episode. McCartney has published many cookbooks, but the show makes the recipes come to life. By cooking along with her viewer, she becomes more engaging and proves how simple cooking sustainable, vegetarian food can be.
Found yet another great cooking show on @discoveryplus Mary McCartney Serves it Up. One thing I was worried about with ditching cable was missing my favorite cooking shows but Discovery+ has me covered!

“I eat meat-free because of the environment and climate change, and animal welfare,” McCartney said. “The facts say that eating a plant-based diet is one of the most significant things you can do if you want to help the environmental impact.”
The show was initially put on pause due to COVID-19, but back in June, discovery+ contacted McCartney and quickly began filming in July to bring the show to viewer’s screens in February. Mary McCartney Serves It Up is available now on disovery+.
