Miley Rocks Out At Super Bowl’s First-Ever Tik-Tok Tailgate
This past Sunday’s Super Bowl featured the first-ever Tik-Tok tailgate event in Tampa featuring no other than Miley Cyrus.
The Tik-Tok tailgate was specifically geared to health care workers, warranting it a celebration of their recent COVID-19 vaccinations and tireless efforts to saving lives and making a difference every day. Rest assured, masks were still left on throughout the entirety of the event.
According to Vogue Magazine, “Given Cyrus is a true fashion girl, she had to bring her stellar style to the stage today—would you expect anything less? Before the show began, she posted a fit on Instagram that saw her put her unique stamp on Super Bowl style. She sported a green jersey-inspired top by Gucci. She paired the luxurious top with denim cut-offs and strappy leather boots to make it sporty and chic.” The photo is accompanied by rock and roll legend Billy Idol who performed with her singing tunes like Night Crawling from her newest album, Plastic Hearts and White Wedding, Idol’s hit track released in 1982.
Miley’s rock performance additionally featured a guest appearance from another rock and roll legend, Joan Jett. Like Idol, Jett collaborated on the Plastic Hearts album with Cyrus and performed their song Bad Karma together, along with Jett’s classic tune Bad Reputation.
Cyrus and various other artists such as actress Rebel Wilson, Adam Devine, Kane Brown, and Ajani Huff performed at the tailgate, with Cyrus being the main attraction. She wore a two-piece cheerleading outfit with the letters FTW (meaning “for the win”) blinged-out across the halter top. Cyrus performed in Tampa, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers did, in fact, get that win.
