Epic Records

Up-and-coming R&B singer GIVĒON’s Tiny Desk (Home) Concert has just been released in honor of Black History Month.

GIVĒON’s Tiny Desk (Home) Concert is finally here after being requested by his fans for months, and it was well worth the wait. The singer performed three of his best songs and delivered the beautiful vocals he’s known for.

Most first got introduced to GIVĒON when he appeared on Drake’s “Chicago Freestyle” just a year ago. His career quickly took off following the song’s release once the world got a taste of his smooth and soothing voice.

Last March, GIVĒON released his EP Take Time, which is nominated for Best R&B Album at this year’s Grammys. His latest EP, When It’s All Said and Done, was released in October and was widely received. Two singles from the project, “Still Your Best” and “Last Time,” reached numbers 22 and 25 on Billboard’s Hot R&B Songs chart.

GIVĒON’s Tiny Desk (Home) Concert is part of a Black History Month series where multiple Black artists will have their Tiny Desk concerts premiered throughout February, and GIVĒON was honored to be able to perform during such a special time. In the backdrop of his performance, he displayed stills from his music videos to celebrate Blackness.

He opened with “THE BEACH,” a song from Take Time, and he spent 14 minutes effortlessly hitting every note alongside his band and background vocalist. Fans are loving the performance, but hearing only three songs left them wanting even more.

GIVĒON’s Tiny Desk performance is just what we need to help us get through these uncertain times, so be sure to check it out now on YouTube.
