According to Deadline, Jordan-Theus has had 15 years of experience both developing and producing TV, film, and other forms of media for Netflix, Disney+, CNN, TBS, OWN, FOX, and YouTube Original. She was the Producer for CNN Film and HBO Max’s documentary Dreamland: The Rise and Fall of Black Wall Street which explores the summer of 1921 in Tulsa when white mobs attacked and destroyed the 35-block Greenwood District in reaction to an accusation of a white woman accusing a Black man of sexual harassment. When Marsai Martin was 14 years old, she became the youngest Executive Producer in Hollywood history with her hit comedy film that she also starred in called Little. That same year, her production company signed a deal with Universal Studios with a comedy StepMonster where she would star as a young teenager adjusting to living with her new stepmother. Martin is best known for her role as Dianne Johnson/Dolly in the hit TV series Blackish. She is the founder of Genius Entertainment along with her father Co-Founder Joshua Martin.
