Conan Gray Shares Clips to Promote and Tease His New Song’s Release
Conan Gray plans on releasing a mysterious new song that fans are conjuring theories about.
Gray has thus far given two short clips in order to tease fans. In the first snippet, Gray is with an unknown girl as he places his hands on her hips and puts her on his shoulders. They appear to be on train tracks and at the very end a train comes blaring in, yet the two seem unfazed.

Other celebrity artists, including Charlie Puth and Zephani Jong, were supportive of the new song and commented on his first post to show their excitement. You may know Gray from his other hits like “Heather” and “Maniac.”
Fans are hoping this girl is Olivia Rodrigo. However, this is all speculation since her face is covered with the darkness of the night, beside the light from the train. Rodrigo also commented “YIPEEEE” on Gray’s second clip.

The second snippet showed Gray with a girl, again. They have a red light shining on them, which gives the clip a loving and passionate vibe. At the very end, we see a slight smile from both people.
In both the 10-second and the 7-second videos there is a piano chord playing in the background. We can assume that this will appear in the song and will be the main melody.
Fans can pre-save the song on Spotify via Gray’s website. The song will be released on Feb. 19, 2021.
