BTS New Track ‘Film Out’ Confirmed to Be the Official Soundtrack for Japanese Film ‘Signal’
BTS’s Jungkook has produced their official track for the Japanese film “Signal,” to be released on April 2.
“Signal” is an upcoming Japanese drama film based on the 2018 TV series with the same title. BTS had also released an official track for the series titled “Don’t Leave me” in 2018. On February 15 BTS’s official Japan Twitter account tweeted a link announcing the new song, “Film Out.”

“Film Out” is a collaboration between the boys of BTS and Japanese rock band Back Number and features production from both BTS’s youngest member Jungkook and Back Number’s Iyori Shimizu. A 90-second teaser of the song has been released on YouTube and has BTS Army tweeting their excitement.
Following the announcement, fans took to Twitter to share their anticipation and congratulate Jungkook on his work, trending ‘PROD JK’ worldwide. There were over 50k tweets discussing Jungkook’s collaboration on the song, causing the term to become the number one worldwide trend of the day.

Jungkook took part in writing and composing the song which will be released on Friday, April 2. The song is expected to be an emotional love ballad with some lyrics written by Jungkook and the soulful melody written by Shimizu. Jungkook shared his experience working on the song, revealing that the melody is “fascinating.” He also continued on saying, “This is a song that I really liked while working, so I hope everyone likes it… it’s a song that can ‘cry’ the hearts of many people.”
