Keke Palmer Cast as Female Lead in New Jordan Peele Horror Film

Jordan Peele has tapped actress Keke Palmer to play the female lead in his latest horror film.

Jordan Peele has quickly become a household name in the horror filmmaking industry. Peele gained critical acclaim for his first two films, 2017’s Get Out starring Daniel Kaluuya and the 2019 film Us starring Lupita Nyong’o. While no details have been made available for his third horror film, it has been revealed who his latest female lead will be, Keke Palmer. In addition to this exciting news, Daniel Kaluuya is in talks to co-star with Palmer.

Palmer has been in the entertainment industry since she was little. The 27-year-old actress got her start in the 2006 drama film, Akeelah and the Bee starring opposite Angela Bassett and Laurence Fishbourne. She also had a successful career in Disney and Nickelodeon. Palmer starred in the 2007 film Jump In! with Corbin Bleu and the television series True Jackson, VP which ran from 2008-2011. Palmer also appeared in Ice Age, Scream Queens, and more recently 2019’s Hustlers.

Not much has been divulged about the latest film, but Palmer is said to be portraying the film’s antagonist. Peele has also revealed he plans to make his third film scarier than both Get Out and Us. Fans of Palmer and Peele can look forward to this dynamic film.

Universal Pictures has the film set for a July 2022 release. In the meantime, fans can keep up with the film through Jordan Peele’s Twitter account.
