The HAIM Sisters Collab With Taylor Swift to Release a Special Remix of Their Song ‘Gasoline’
Artist Taylor Swift and the all-female band HAIM join their musical talents together once again for a remix of the song “Gasoline.”
On February 18, HAIM released a remix to one of their previous songs, “Gasoline”, only this time the remix features Taylor Swift. The day before the song was released, HAIM teased fans by posting a TikTok about the unique collaboration with Swift. The three Haim sisters and Taylor Swift have publically been friends for a few years now. The original song “Gasoline” was released along with their album Women In Music Pt. III back in June of 2020. The album has earned the group a Grammy nomination for Album of the Year at the 63rd Grammy Awards.

This is not the first time Taylor Swift and the band HAIM have worked together. HAIM was featured on “no body, no crime,” a song apart of Swift’s most recent album evermore. The song peaked at No.16 on the Billboard Global 200 and spent four weeks on the charts. It is clear for anyone to see that Taylor Swift has been spending a lot of time in the studio lately.
Swift released the album evermore in December of 2020, only five months after she released folklore. Evermore and folklore both have a total of 17 tracks. Though evermore includes two bonus tracks while folklore only includes one. Folklore has earned Swift a total of five Grammy nominations, including Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop/Duo Group Performance, and Best Pop Vocal Album. Evermore was not included in this year’s nominations as it was released after the nominations were given.
