Jared Leto Stuns Fans in Latest Photo for Snyder’s Cut ‘Justice League’
A new photo of Jared Leto as the Joker for the well-awaited Snyder Cut’s Justice League has emerged.
The latest photo of Jared Leto as the Joker has surfaced and fans cannot stop thinking about the shocking image. One fan spoke about the incredible transformation of Leto’s Joker now in 2021 in comparison to the 2016 film, Suicide Squad. The actor’s face is cut up, revealing no evidence of his previous ink, a contrasting difference between the two films.

The latest image from Zack Snyder’s Justice League, also known as the Snyder Cut, features Leto as a Christ-like figure. The black and white photo calls upon strong religious imagery, most specifically seen with what is worn on his head and the positioning of his hands. Leto is wearing a crown of thorns, a symbol that is synonymous with Jesus Christ. He is seen looking up holding up his hands in a holy, praying manner. By sharing this image of the Joker as a Christ-like figure, it is giving viewers the idea of the Joker as a tortured soul.

This latest photo appears to be radical compared to previous portrayals of the Joker. Other photos of Leto’s Joker have surfaced, all photos are in black and white and prove to be eerie. Fans are excited to see what Leto x Snyder bring to the table when this iconic role comes to life again.

This film is a result of the disappointment in the original Joss Whedon cut of the film, enacting a #releasethesnydercut social media uprising from fans everywhere. Zack Snyder had left the original film after the passing of his daughter. Following the failure of the first version of the film, Warner Bros has chosen to release the Snyder version of the comic film much to the fan’s excitment. These photos promise viewers are in for an interesting ride with Leto as the Joker.
