Mark Ruffalo and Jennifer Garner brought a wave of nostalgia to social media when the former co-stars shared pictures of their reunion.

Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo posted a photo of them together on February 23 to their accounts.

“Wishing dust worked! And I got a perfect day with my old pal,” Garner wrote on her Instagram post.

The pair starred in the 2004 film 13 Going on 30. After 13-year-old Jenna Rink, played by Christa B. Allen, wishes on her birthday to be “thirty, flirty, and thriving,” she sprinkles the glitter that younger Matt Flamhaff (Sean Marquette) has gifted her. Waking up, Jenna Rink (Jennifer Garner) is thirty years old and everything she had asked for. Refusing to live life without Matt, Jenna goes on a hunt to find her best friend. Finding Matt, now played by Mark Ruffalo, Jenna is confused by the adult challenges she faces.

Posting the same picture on Twitter, Ruffalo captioned his, “Reconnecting with an old pal. Anyone know where we can get Razzles in Canada?”

Ruffalo and Garner were filming The Adams Project, which is how the reunion happened. Directed by Shawn Levy, this film will be on Netflix. The science fiction film explores a man as he travels back in time to visit his 13-year-old self. Ruffalo and Garner will play the parents of the young boy.

Razzles played a minor yet important part in the popular film. It was a staple candy between the best friends, Jenna and Matt. Many fans took it upon themselves to find Razzles at their local store and share it with the duo.

The movie’s fans created an explosive buzz on Twitter. From around the world, fans tweeted their excitement about the reunion.

Perhaps in the future, there will be a full-cast reunion. As for now, sit back, relax, grab some Razzles, and stream the romantic comedy classic.
