K-Pop Singer-Songwriter Wonho Releases ‘1ST MINI ALBUM PART. 2 Love Synonym’

Korean singer, songwriter, and producer Wonho is back with the release of part 2 of his first solo mini-album, WONHO 1ST MINI ALBUM Part2. <Love Synonym #2: Right for Us>.

Wonho is a Korean singer, songwriter, producer and former member of k-pop boy band Monsta X. Wonho debuted part 1 of the mini-album in September, kicking off his solo career. Part 2 of the album is a continuation of the Love Synonym series, and consists of eight tracks, including the title track “Lose.” The title track contains emotional storytelling lyrics and is accompanied by a sentimental music video.

After the success of Love Synonym #1, fans have been eager to hear Wonho’s continuation and are sharing their love for the singer-songwriter on Twitter. Following the release of part two of his first solo mini-album, Wonho was the #2 trending U.S. topic on Twitter with the hashtags #Love_Synonym and #Right_for_Us. 

The album showcases Wonho’s songwriting as well as production skills. It also includes a collaboration with an American artist for the first time in his career. “Ain’t About You” is a breakup track that features singer-songwriter KIIARA’s vocals.

Wonho’s passion and emotion are showcased throughout the eight-track album, each song exhibiting sentimental story-telling lyrics. Wonho’s incredible talent is further seen in the album through his songwriting, production, and vocal range. According to Forbes, Wonho has been named one of the K-Pop Solo Stars Who Could Break In America In 2021.
