Rebel Wilson Will Star in the New Paramount Players High School Comedy ‘Senior Year’
Rebel Wilson will star in and take part in producing the upcoming Paramount Players’ comedy Senior Year.
The comedic Australian actress, who is best known for her role as Amy in the Pitch Perfect films, will return to acting after taking a break from the busy year she had in 2019. She had a lot on her plate between the release of her romantic comedy Isn’t It Romantic, along with starring in The Hustle with Anne Hathaway. Wilson is ready to get back into what she does best, as she stars in Senior Year, along with producing it with Todd Garner and Chris Bender.
Wilson took to Instagram to announce her role in the new Paramount Players’ comedy. She wrote, “I mean who doesn’t love a high school cheerleading movie!!”
Senior Year will follow the story of a cheerleader (Wilson) who wakes up after being in a 20-year coma. She then returns to high school in hopes to pick up where she left off, regaining her status, and obtain her goal to become prom queen.
Guaranteed to be a giggle 🤭. Just what we all need.
