British singer-songwriter Celeste Waite looked radiant in Gucci at the 2021 Golden Globe Awards. Celeste is seen wearing a velvet, multi-colored, sequined gown, which had been designed by the great Alessandro Michele. The gown starts off simple in all black at the top, but the latter half shows its eye-catching colors which would include red, green, blue, black, and brown. She was also seen wearing green gloves, gold lion head earrings, and a bold red lip.

The photo by Zoe McConnell shows Celeste standing with a serious face. The talented singer-songwriter had been nominated for Best Original Song along with Daniel Pemberton for “Hear My Voice,” which can be heard in the 2020 Netflix film The Trial of the Chicago 7. The film stars Sacha Baron Cohen and Eddie Redmayne.

Celeste lost to “Io Sì (Seen)” (The Life Ahead) which was penned by Diane Warren, Laura Pausini, and Niccolò Agliardi. Other nominees included H.E.R., Dernst Emile II, and Tiara Thomas for the song “Fight for You” (Judas and the Black Messiah), Leslie Odom, Jr. and Sam Ashworth for the song “Speak Now” (One Night in Miami), and Andra Day and Raphael Saadiq for the song “Tigris and Tweed” (The United States Vs. Billie Holiday).

Waite took to Twitter to show some behind the scene shots of getting ready to wear her stunning Gucci dress and made sure to thank Gucci for the “special evening”.

While Waite may not have won the Golden Globe, her Gucci gown is the real winner.
