Ryan Reynolds took to social media to share behind-the-scenes photos of his upcoming Netflix film, The Adam Project, which also stars Jennifer Garner, Mark Ruffalo, and Zoe Saldana.

In his post, Reynolds referred to himself and his co-stars by their beloved Marvel roles: Gamora (Saldana), Elektra (Garner), The Hulk (Ruffalo), and Deadpool (Reynolds).

Non-Marvel actors, including Catherine Keener, Alex Mallari Jr., and Walker Scobell, will star as well. In his post, Reynolds writes that Scobell is “the kid who’ll eventually play Deadpool when I crawl into a box and turn into a skeleton.”

In the ten photos he shared on Instagram, Reynolds included stills from The Adam Project alongside candids, selfies, and a behind-the-scenes look at the COVID-19 pandemic safety protocols utilized on the film set.

Reynolds thanked Netflix, Skydance Media, and his “spiritual, cinematic soulmate” director Shawn Levy for their involvement in the film, as well as the entire crew. In his post, Reynolds gave his hometown, Vancouver, “a lingering, uncomfortably indulgent hug.”

Levy also took to social media to share more images of The Adam Project. In his post, Levy confirms the film wrapped on March 3. Reynolds confirmed the film finished production four days earlier than expected.

David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, Levy, and Reynolds serve as producers on the science-fiction film. T.S. Nowlin, Jonathan Tropper, Jennifer Flackett, and Mark Levin wrote the screenplay.

The film does not have a release date as of yet, but be sure to follow both Netflix and Reynolds to stay updated.
