MONSTA X Teams up With Snoop Dogg on Exclusive Soundtrack Song ‘How We Do’ for Paramount +’s ‘The Spongebob Movie: Sponge on the Run’
Starship Entertainment’s k-pop boy group MONSTA X has teamed up with American rapper Snoop Dogg for a new collaboration single, “How We Do,” to be released with Paramount +’s exclusive movie The Spongebob Movie: Sponge on the Run. The Spongebob Squarepants original movie is exclusive to Paramount’s newest streaming platform, Paramount+, and is accompanied by an exclusive soundtrack with a total of nine songs. The original motion picture soundtrack song is titled “How We Do” and was released on Friday, March 5 on most music streaming platforms.
The movie soundtrack includes songs by big names such as J Balvin, Swae Lee, Weezer, and the unexpected collaboration between Snoop Dogg and MONSTA X has already gathered over 120 million streams on Spotify. The upbeat tune features hip-hop and electric dance melodies and incorporates lyrics that fit right into the theme of the movie. With Snoop Dogg’s rapping and MONSTA X’s melodic voices blending together to create a great soundtrack song, fans of both are sure to fall quickly in love with the single.

MONSTA X fans, known as Monbebe, are sharing their support for the South Korean boy group on Twitter as they work to increase streams of the song and share their pride for the boys with tweets and hashtags. The two-minute song has increased in popularity since its release on Friday, racking up over 60,000 Shazams and 75,000 views on the teaser video posted on the band’s official Twitter account.
