Tyler Perry became Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s saving grace during 2020 by offering one of his homes and full security to ensure the couple and their son Archie’s safety.
In the brutally honest sit-down interview with Oprah on CNN, Meghan and Harry revealed that the lockdown restrictions made it incredibly unsafe for the couple and their young infant son to reach a safe destination free from the tabloids. Harry and Meghan received an invitation from close friend, Tyler Perry, who offered up one of his homes in Southern California with a full security detail, ensuring they would be safe. Meghan revealed that this generous invitation bought her and Harry three months to think of their next move. This news came as they revealed that their security had been stripped due to stepping down as senior members of the British Royal Family.
Those following the situation have been pleasantly surprised to find out that Perry, a billionaire and successful actor, director, producer, and screenwriter, would turn out to be the hero for The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Back in April 2020 when the pandemic was especially new and frightening, Perry paid the groceries for close to 3,000 shoppers at Kroger stores located all over Atlanta. This speaks volumes to spreading his generosity and sharing his generous heart with the world.
