Billie Eilish Makes Historic Win For Her Song ‘No Time To Die’
Billie Eilish made history with her win for her song “No Time to Die” at the 63rd Grammy Awards, which took place Sunday, March 14.
Eilish’s theme song “No Time to Die” won Best Song Written for Visual Media. She wrote the song for the unreleased James Bond movie No Time To Die. The film is not set to premiere until October 8, 2021.
Eilish’s win marked the first time in history that a song from an unreleased movie won the award. In the past, only songs from released movies were allowed to be nominated for any visual media awards. Though, the rules were rewritten because of the many movie delays due to the pandemic.
