Eilish’s win marked the first time in history that a song from an unreleased movie won the award. In the past, only songs from released movies were allowed to be nominated for any visual media awards. Though, the rules were rewritten because of the many movie delays due to the pandemic.

Eilish released “No Time to Die” on February 13, 2020. The track peaked at No. 16 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and peaking at No.3 on the Billboard Global 200 chart. Eilish is the youngest artist ever to write a song for a James Bond movie. Her brother Finneas O’Connell shares the award with her as he co-wrote the hit song.

Eilish also won Record of the Year for her single “Everything I Wanted.” She took the title home over Beyonce, Megan Thee Stallion, Post Malone, and more. Eilish and her brother performed the winning song live at the 63rd Grammy’s. You can watch their performance below.

Eilish has had a very successful career at the age of only 19 years old. She has won a total of seven Grammy awards between the 62nd and 63rd Grammy ceremony’s. Her record-breaking album, WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? was released in 2019 and is the only studio album she has recorded.
