Blue Ivy Carter Drinks From Her Grammy Award in Beyoncé’s Behind the Scenes Video
Blue Ivy Carter is now the second youngest person to ever win a Grammy award and Beyoncé took to Instagram to celebrate her success. The nine-year-old snagged the gramophone trophy along with her mother for Best Music Video for “Brown Skin Girl”. She later celebrates her win by posing in a photo wearing a Notorious B.I.G’s inspired gold crown while using the award as a sippy cup.
Reaching huge milestones and accomplishments usually occur later in life, especially for those in the music industry. However, when Jay-Z and Beyonce are your parents, the limit does not exist.
Blue Ivy Carter showcased a kid-friendly reenactment of Jay-Z in 2013 who took a celebratory shot of D’usse Cognac out of his award after winning three Grammys that night. Blue Ivy added her own twist by toasting to her win by sipping out of a blue and white striped straw.
The iconic song includes Beyoncé, Blue Ivy, SAINt JHN, and WizKid. It was featured on Beyoncé’s soundtrack album, The Lion King: The Gift. “Brown Skin Girl” has now surpassed over 80 million streams on Spotify and continues to gain popularity.
Not only did Blue win her very first Grammy award, but her mother became the most awarded singer in Grammy history, male or female with 28 wins; giving the Carters a total of 52 Grammys.
Beyoncé took to Instagram to share a compilation of her multiple triumphs followed by photos of her daughter posing with her own trophy, as shown above. Follow Beyoncé’s official Instagram account to stay updated.
