BLACKPINK’s Rosé Breaks Record for Fastest K-Pop Debut Video to Hit 100 Million Views on YouTube
‘CONGRATULATIONS SOLOIST ROSÉ’ is trending on Twitter among Blinks as BLACKPINK’s Rosé’s debut single “On The Ground” breaks another record, this time for becoming the fastest k-pop debut video to hit 100 million views on YouTube. The music video for Rosé’s first single “On The Ground” from her single album -R- premiered on March 12 alongside the album, exactly one week before hitting this milestone. This broke record for the fastest debut video to hit this number of views. Rosé has joined Olivia Rodrigo and The Weeknd as the only artists with music videos that have exceeded 100 million views on YouTube in 2021 so far.
The singer shared the news with an Instagram story post, displaying the words ‘100M MUSIC VIDEO HITS YouTube VIEWS’, accompanied by a link to the official video.
BLACKPINK fans, known as Blinks, are rightfully proud of Rosé for this incredible feat and have taken to Twitter to share their congratulations for the singer, using the hashtag #OnTheGround100M.
