Beyoncé Writes Heartfelt Letter to Taylor Swift, Congratulating Her on a Grammy Win
After winning her Grammy award for Album of the Year, Taylor Swift woke up with a surprise handwritten letter from her good friend, Beyoncé. The “Cardigan” singer, Taylor Swift, had an electrifying night at the recent 2021 Grammys. After dropping two surprise albums within one year, Swift received endless praise for her newest indie folk, alternative pop songs. She was nominated in six categories this year, and much to her delight, she also won Album of The Year for her eighth studio collection; Folklore. The singer performed a beautiful medley of hit songs, including “August,” “Willow,” and of course, “Cardigan.”
The surprises did not end there, however. On March 19, Swift updated her Instagram stories to showcase a gorgeous bouquet of pink-toned flowers, along with a handwritten note signed with Beyoncé’s initial. In excitement, Swift wrote; “Woke up to flowers from the queen of grace & greatness @beyonce and suddenly it’s the best Friday EVER, Thank you B and congratulations on your epic achievement Sunday night!!” The heartfelt letter in question read; “Congratulations on your Grammy. It was great seeing you Sunday night. Thank you for always being so supportive. Sending love to you and your family. B”
Much like her friend Swift, Beyoncé also had nothing short of a fantastic night at the Grammys. Her daughter, Blue Ivy, is now the second-youngest star to take home an award. In addition to that, Beyoncé received awards for Best Music Video, Best Rap Song, Best Rap Performance, and Best R&B Performance. She became the female artist with the largest amount of Grammy wins in history.
