Lizzie McGuire x ColourPop Makeup Collab Is Coming
Hey now, a Lizzie McGuire x ColourPop Makeup collaboration is officially on the way. After the crushing news of a Lizzie McGuire reboot being canceled, the beloved character will be making an appearance in another exciting way: makeup. Lizzie will now be found in women’s makeup bags instead of gracing our television screens. The Disney Lizzie McGuire collection will be reminiscent of all things the early 2000s. The collection will launch on Friday, March 26th at 10 am PST on colourpop.com.
The beauty brand has continued to tease the collaboration leaving fans anxious for what is to come. On March 21, ColourPop first sent out a tweet that read, “If you know, you know. You just had to be there… Coming soon to ColourPop.” The tweet ends with the eyes emoji and a picture of the Disney Channel logo and flowery background. Fans went crazy and guessed beloved shows like Kim Possible and That’s So Raven. Many had also guessed the correct answer, Lizzie McGuire.

On March 22, ColourPop’s next tweet became more obvious. The tweet tells fans to get some early 2000s fashion staples handy such as butterfly clips and a hair crimper. The photo still contained a flowery background but this time there is a familiar-looking silhouette. The silhouette features the cartoon character we all know and love: Lizzie McGuire.

A few hours later, ColourPop took to Twitter again to unveil the collection. The collaboration features a 12 pan palette, lip scrub, four lip glosses, two glitter gels, and two pressed powder blushes. The photo features the glittery flower-themed collection, proving to be the cutest spring fashion must-have.

Some names that are true Lizzie liners would include “Buh-Bye!” “Puh-Lease,” “Dear Diary,” “Outie,” and her signature, “UGGGHHH!” The photo features all the names of the swatches as well as a teaser question, “Which shade name is your favorite?”
