BTS Announces Release of Japanese Album, ‘BTS, THE BEST’ Alongside Teaser for ‘Film Out’
K-pop supergroup BTS has shared with their Japanese fans that they will be releasing a Japanese album entitled BTS, THE BEST, which will be out on Wednesday, June 16. The boy band also released a 30-second teaser clip promoting their new song, “Film Out,” which will be released on April 2.
On Thursday, March 25, BTS shared the exciting news of a Japanese album drop with their official Japan fan club. The album is going to be a compilation of BTS’ best and most popular works released in Japan over the length of their career, recorded in Japanese. Along with Japanese versions of their already-released and well-loved songs such as “Dynamite” and “FAKE LOVE,” the album will contain unreleased songs like “Film Out.”

BTS, THE BEST will contain 23 songs altogether spread across two limited edition CD discs and a Blu-ray/DVD containing 6 of the band’s music videos. The music video for their newest release “Film Out,” is set to be released alongside the song on April 1 and will also be included in this album package. The album will be available for pre-order on the BTS Japan Official Shop starting on March 26.

The k-pop group released the short teaser video for “Film Out” on YouTube on March 25, gaining over 5 million views within 10 hours, becoming the #2 trending YouTube video. Fans are showing their excitement and support for the band on Twitter by trending various hashtags regarding the release.
BTS, THE BEST will be available to stream on June 16. Pre-order for the album starts on March 26 at 12 am on BTS’ Official Japanese Shop.
