Phillip even spoke about her husband, Marcus Richardson, and the life she has away from work. Phillip said, “I am married. I live in D.C. with my husband Marcus, and we have a dog named Booker T. We’ve been together for almost ten years, married almost three.” She stated that she knew from just after their first date Richardson was the one for her.
A little story about @GayleKing: Gayle and I have sadly never met in person (thanks COVID!). But a few years ago, my first week ever sitting behind an anchor desk, I got an email from Gayle. I thought it was a prank because there was no way that she would be emailing ME. 1/
