Janelle Monáe Stunned Fans With Gorgeous Attire at the NAACP Image Awards

On Saturday, March 27, Janelle Monáe took to Instagram and Twitter to post her elegant dress for the 52nd NAACP Image Awards that aired on BET. Despite not having a formal red carpet ceremony to display her refined black and white dress, the 35-year-old musician and actress found a way through social media to properly recognize her attire and glamourous look. Equally important, at the NAACP Image Awards, Monáe was nominated in the category "Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture" for her role in the thriller Antebellum that was released in 2020.

Despite not having a formal red carpet ceremony to display her refined black and white dress, the 35-year-old musician and actress found a way through social media to properly recognize her attire and glamourous look. Equally important, at the NAACP Image Awards, Monáe was nominated in the category “Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture” for her role in the thriller Antebellum that was released in 2020.

Alexandra Mandelkorn styled Monáe in a side-cut-out Christian Siriano dress with dazzling Jennifer Fisher bracelets and necklace. In addition to this, Nikki Nelms styled a beautiful blonde and curly pixie cut to go with the outfit. Emily Cheng created a simple, but bold makeup style to top off the whole look. Thanks to Angelo Kritikos, the photographer, Monae’s appearance was captured in front of an aesthetically pleasing outdoor backdrop.

Without a doubt, Monáe’s beauty brought attention to her page. American musician, Alicia Keys, commented, “😘😘😘😘😘” along with Christian Siriano who commented, “Love you!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥”
