K-Pop fans burst with joy after BTS member J-Hope recently posted a new image on Twitter. He shared a photo of himself in the HYBE Building’s dance studio with the caption, “아미 잘지내고 있죠~ 너무 보고싶어요, 오늘 하루도 힘내시구, 우리모두 빠이팅,” which translates to, “Army is doing well~ I miss you so much, Do your best today too, All of us.”

Fans loved this surprise image from J-Hope and immediately noticed is his newly dyed silver hair.

The post quickly rose to one million likes within a few hours and, of course, the fandom could not contain itself. It sparked a frenzy, even getting the word “silver” to trend under K-pop on Twitter.

Recently, BTS was nominated for an iHeartRadio Music Award, where J-Hope’s hair color was revealed on YouTube as well. And since J-Hope’s hair has been dark brown for more than a year now, this change of scenery may hint at BTS’ future activities. Fans have even begun asking for his silver hair to make an appearance in their upcoming album.

For now, all fans can do is rave and support their idols until further notice. However, there have been rumors circulating about BTS dropping new music in May and Kim Tae Hyung’s first mixtape.

The group updates its fans mainly on Twitter and HYBE Corporation’s own isolated K-pop platform, Weverse. They constantly interact with Army—their fandom—and actively support as well as spread positivity across all their social media accounts. Don’t forget to keep an eye out for new BTS material in the near future.
