Beginning on April 10, for two weeks, the show’s cast members will highlight ten pre-determined charities, which include: Women for Women International, World Central Kitchen, Conservation International, International Rescue Committee (IRC), UNICEF, FilmAid International, SameYou, Royal Mencap Society, National Urban League, and The Trevor Project. The beginning of the philanthropic event coincides with HBO2’s airing of the show’s first season.

The show’s spotlight page on the streaming site includes docuseries, behind-the-scenes footage, clips, trailers, and cast interviews, including Conan O’Brien’s Game of Thrones reunion special. The page also contains House-specific playlists of other HBO offerings based on the user’s preferences.

Moreover, depending on the fan’s favorite aspect of the show –– battles, Daenerys Targaryan, Arya Stark, the Night King, or the shocking moments –– HBO is offering five unique marathons, “MaraThrone by Combat,” “A Path of Fire and Blood,” “A Collection Has No Name,” and “A Good Walk Spoiled.” The episode-by-episode routes are available as downloadable graphics.

Meanwhile, Warner Bros. Consumer Products is celebrating the milestone with new collectibles and products. The merchandise line includes a unique collection of Funko Pop dolls, Game of Thrones-inspired beer from Mikkeller, and a $2.2 million Fabergé Imperial egg.

Even though the show ended in 2019, HBO’s commitment to the series lives on past anniversary events. House of the Dragon, a prequel to the series centered around the fabled Targaryen civil war, starring Emma D’Arcy and Matt Smith will air in 2022.

Season one #MaraThrone will begin at 10 a.m. on April 10 on HBO2, but all episodes of Game of Thrones are available for streaming on HBO Max.
