Taylor Swift Releases the Much Awaited ‘Fearless (Taylor’s Version)’
Fearless (Taylor’s Version) released by Taylor Swift, entered the industry with much success, topping chart after chart and bringing waves of nostalgia as the album launched on April 9.
Just when the thought of the country turned pop turned indie musician’s songs could not get any more emotional, the re-recordings of her 2008 Grammy-winning album brought back feelings of relationship frustration, the strongest friendships, and the hope of change.
Swift’s version of her album gives a perfect kick-off to the spring season. With weather changes, the album seems to bring a timely turn into the world of deep-rooted hate for the artist. After enduring years of sexism, music corruption, and industry slander the release of her music shows off her courage.
Despite only being a week after the release, Swift has once again topped multiple charts. On April 9, the album peaked worldwide for Apple Music and Spotify, reaching #1. She became the first in women in country music for her album to reach these charts in history.

As well as reaching new heights in the digital streaming world, the album became the first country album in six years to become the chart-topping release.
Swift stated in an Instagram post, “Word on the street is you made Fearless (my version) the biggest country album first week of the last 6 years and the top release of 2021 so far.”
The re-recordings and ‘From the Vault’ tracks feature Swift’s sweet tone. With an older voice and slight changes in lyrics, her modern era of music savors her youth. Her lyricism and hard work show her romanticism of life, passion for music, and the small things that can be forced onto a person. Even from the ages of 16 to 18, when she had written Fearless’ tracks, showed Swift’s ability to outdo the societal wants of a young woman.

The nostalgia of Fearless hits harder with every listen. As Swift has given herself time to grow, her pronunciation of lyrics has dizzied many fans. Many fans have mentioned how the re-recordings sound like a mother talking to her daughter.
fifteen (taylor’s version) sounds like a mom, motherly figure, or older sister telling u all abt high school & giving u advice & i jus 🥺🥺 i cried when i listened to it for the first time

Fearless (Taylor’s Version) has also shown many people that going back to roots can be painful. But Swift’s ability to take charge and show her personal growth has given the media a run for its money.
👏👏👏I was honored @taylorswift13 invited me to play a small part in this incredible undertaking — reinterpreting and reclaiming her past. https://t.co/Gh180R7NUy
