Weverse, HYBE Corporation’s new socializing platform, has added Jeremy Zucker to its roster of artists. Since its creation in June of 2019, there have been 20 artists added to the Weverse app. Unlike typical social media programs, Weverse is designed to connect fans directly to their favorite celebrities. The artists can comment on their fan’s posts, share “story” type moments, and post under their own accounts. Fans can also like almost all activity from other users on the app, from moments to comments to posts.

On Weverse’s launch date, BigHit Entertainment’s groups BTS and TXT (also known as TOMORROW X TOGETHER) were some of the only members on the app. Their Weverse accounts have currently accumulated over 13.5 million wever—the name of Weverse users—combined. There are about 1.4 million daily users as of March 2020, and since then many more have joined.

Many of BTS’s and TXT’s posts gain over 20,000 likes. Some of which have transferred onto Twitter sparking trending tags, like member Jin’s recent fishing photos. Jeremy Zucker’s presence on the platform is something his fans have openly celebrated. He also responded to a few posts saying, “I feel like a grandpa trying to figure out how to work social media all over again.”

As Zucker adjusts, fans have continued to post nonstop about how they feel. One expressed their love for Zucker by commenting, “Hello! I’m new here and I’m very happy that you joined Weverse. I just want to tell you that I really love your music.”

Jeremy Zucker first appeared on the pop scene in 2015 after releasing his song “Bout If”—a collaboration with Daniel James and Benjamin O. It was met with great success after collecting millions of streams on both SoundCloud and Spotify. His EP “summer” which includes the song “comethru” hoisted his name up into the clouds with successful artists such as Lauv and Troye Sivan. Since then, “comethru” has been this most-streamed song accumulating 485 million streams on Spotify alone.

Before Zucker’s welcome, Weverse was already serving as a platform for many other American and K-pop artists such as New Hope Club, Gracie Abrams, Alexander 23, ENHYPEN, and Weekly.

Weverse is a very flexible platform that benefits both the artists and the fans. Concerts such as the 2021 New Years’ Eve Live for BigHit performers were held on the app. Pre-orders for new albums and a huge range of merchandise are offered on the Weverse Shop, an app extension purely for purchasing artist-related goods.

Fans can keep up with Jeremy Zucker’s future activities on his Weverse page as well as his Twitter and Instagram accounts.
