BTS Are Announced As New House Ambassadors for Louis Vuitton

On April 22, Louis Vuitton announced on social media that BTS are the newest House Ambassadors to the luxury brand. Later, the French luxury brand followed up with individual photos of the famous K-Pop group in a colorful photoshoot from Paper Magazine.

Virgil Abloh, Louis Vuitton’s Men’s Artistic Director stated, “I am looking forward to this wonderful partnership which adds a modern chapter to the House, merging luxury and contemporary culture.” In a press release, Virgil Abloh explained, “I can’t wait to share all the very exciting projects we are working on.” BTS and Louis Vuitton are a part of two different markets, but together they create one of the most influential partnerships of the year.

Louis Vuitton wrote on Instagram, “Beyond the Scene. One of the most renowned and influential groups in the world, @bts.bighitofficial join as #LouisVuitton House Ambassadors.”

In the Twitter announcement, Louis Vuitton welcomes each member and referred to BTS as “world renowned Pop Icons.” The luxury brand acknowledged the well-spoken K-Pop group for their “uplifting messages that impart a positive influence.”

It’s no surprise BTS is chosen to take on this influential role with the French luxury brand. According to Women’s Wear Daily, BTS helped increase views for Louis Vuitton’s fall men’s show back in January. Women’s Wear Daily wrote that the South Korean K-Pop group helped the show become “viewed more than 105 million times.”
