Bella Thorne Is Now Engaged to Benjamin Mascolo

23-year-old actress Bella Thorne just got engaged to 27-year-old Italian pop star Benjamin Mascolo. On March 20, Mascolo posted about the engagement with a carousel post on Instagram. The caption read, “She said YES” with a diamond emoji followed by a black heart.

According to Teen Vogue, the couple was first seen talking and kissing in San Diego, California in April of 2019. Prior to this, Thorne was in an open relationship with rapper Mod Sun and YouTuber Tana Mongeau.

Thorne and Mascolo made their relationship public on Instagram in June of 2019. In September 2019, the couple shared a kiss on the red carpet for Thorne’s directorial debut for Her and Him. In January of 2020, Thorne posted that she had a “Big announcement coming soon. I’m so happy” followed by three ring emojis.

The couple is currently starring as the romantic leads of a teen romance movie called Time Is Up. Moscolo posted on an Instagram Story that he had written a love letter to Thorne on the back of the script.

On March 22, Thorne shared moments from the proposal with the caption “You would have said yes too” followed by two clap emojis. There is a photo of the letters spelling “Marry Me” in white fluorescent lights. Another shows a heart made of red roses with white roses spelling out B+B. A tree drips down string lights with photos of the couple from different moments in their relationship. There are several silly photos of the couple sticking their tongue out and one of Thorne placing her left hand over Mascolo’s face. A more serious one shows Thorne’s hand palm-down with peach acrylic nails and a pear-shaped ring. 

Moscolo posted on April 17 a photo of the couple in coordinating all-white outfits with the caption “She got me an engagement ring” followed by a white heart emoji.
