On April 16, H&M Home released a new furniture line alongside Diane von Fürstenberg, featuring bold colors and stunning patterns. For people on the hunt for a new interior design, they can look no further than H&M Home’s new collection with renowned fashion designer, Diane von Furstenberg.

Known for her famous jersey “wrap dress,” the Belgian innovator decided to collaborate with one of the most well-known businesses, in order to provide brand new ways to accessorize our homes. This 31-piece line introduces a fresh pop of color to H&M’s earthy-toned, minimalist style. Furstenberg’s new items include glass vases with intricate designs, porcelain saucers with bold prints, as well as wool throws made from Jacquard-weave. Each item carries its own noticeable charm, whether that be through a vivid color, or a striking use of animal print. To bring the entire collection together, Furstenberg even adds in a cupro bathrobe in the style of her iconic wrap dress.

When describing her work with H&M Home, Furstenberg notes that she “designs for the woman in charge.” Being a woman who owns her own fashion brand, along with a number of allied businesses, it’s clear to see where that inspiration comes from. The designer has created a big name for herself over the years, from launching a plethora of clothing lines, to holding the spot of CFDA Chairwoman for thirteen years. Being featured in many magazines, Furstenberg is regarded as one of the most influential women in the fashion world. Not only does she inspire us through her actions, but she also uses this collection to spread a positive message. In her ad campaigns with H&M, she speaks directly to her followers; “It’s about owning it. You own your imperfection, they become your assets…. The more honest you are, the more you find your own style.”
