ENHYPEN Reveals Teaser One to Their ‘Drunk-Dazed’ Music Video
ENHYPEN is hitting their first comeback season for their next album BORDER: CARNIVAL and fans are going crazy. Soon, the music video for their title track on the BORDER: CARNIVAL album, “Drunk-Dazed”, will be released. ENGINES, the group’s fandom name, are slowly getting anxious for ENHYPEN’s first comeback promotions, but not before the first teaser was released.
It was previously revealed that three types of concepts would be incorporated into the BORDER: CARNIVAL album: A “hype”, “up”, and “down” version. The pre-released photos and videos exposed parts of the different albums that fans can already purchase. Pre-ordering the albums has long been available on the Weverse shop. In fact, many fans who bought multiple pre-ordered albums could also participate in the fan-sign competition. For each album that you purchase, one raffle ticket goes under your name for a chance to attend one of their online fan-sign events.

What the teaser revealed was a mixture of all three concepts. The “up” concept representing a noble and royal theme, while the “down” concept showed a darker and highly edited, somewhat electronic-type theme. Lastly, the hype concept gave viewers a chaotic, bad-boy-type aura to the boys, never seen before. Their debut covered a vampire theme, but it is unknown whether or not the group aligned their first comeback in the same direction. However, BORDER: CARNIVAL remains a part of their Border series and must tie into a single overarching message.
Fans have already begun theorizing about the many symbols and imagery that are portrayed in the teaser. The short, twenty-seven-second video does not reveal much of the music. Instead, it sets up a mood for what is to be expected from “Drunk-Dazed” and the concept the group is aiming towards. The boys change outfits between their prince-like uniforms to a more casual look. Some think that they will feature a masquerade ball as shown through their “up” concept pre-released photos.
ENHYPEN will be on heavy promotions following the release of their album and music video. The group is already scheduled to appear on Idol League with the girl group ITZY. Watch out for more of ENHYPEN’s releases on their YouTube channel, VLIVE, Instagram, and Twitter.
