TO1 Announces Re-Debut After Name Change With Mini Album Release

K-pop boy band TO1 has announced their first comeback since their recent name change, through a re-debut, with a mini-album. The news was shared on April 25 via the group’s official Twitter account with a concept preview. The mini-album is set to be released sometime in May.

The ten-member group, who recently changed their name from TOO to TO1, had released two albums prior to this announcement, Reason for Being: Benevolence and Running TOOgether. On Sunday, March 28, the group announced that they had changed their name. Formerly TOO (Ten Oriented Orchestra), rebranded to TO1 (Together as 1), to share the message of “we exist as one.” The boy group was originally created in 2019 on Mnet’s reality show, To Be World Klass. The band includes ten members: Chihoon, Donggeon, Jisu, Minsu, Jaeyun, J.You, Kyungho, Jerome, and Woonggi.

The big comeback announcement was made on the group’s official Twitter account with a photo of the concept preview. The photo showcased clouds in the sky with gorgeous blue and pink tones, as well as the phrase ‘TO1 1st MINI ALBUM’ followed by the ten members’ names and the release month of May 2021. This announcement excited fans all over the world as they anticipate the band’s re-debut.

Though the band has yet to announce more details about their exciting re-debut, fans of the group are expecting to be wowed, sharing their thoughts and anticipation on social media. The official announcement on Twitter included the phrase ‘Concept Preview #1,’ so fans are expecting more as we approach the release.
